As the Sunshine Coast becomes a vibrant business and industry hub we are being contracted to build more and more commercial premises. These vary from industrial sheds to retail spaces and even large-scale multi-purpose buildings.

Whatever commercial project you are considering, there are some important early steps in your planning process.

It starts with a plan ….

We work with you to start the process of designing the perfect commercial building for your requirements. We will help you to explore and articulate your requirements and establish the best way to meet them.

This can be done under a preliminary agreement, which means there will be absolutely no obligation for you to go any further with the building process if you don’t want to.

What about the cost?

Affordability is key to a project going ahead, which is why we undertake an initial feasibility assessment with you.

We will work up a cost estimate and also explain all of the hidden costs that can catch you out further down the track of your building process. We can then do a more accurate costing once your commercial plans have been finalised.

At this stage we are able to work with you to explore budget-friendly alternatives to your original plan if required.

What about the site?

Choosing a site is a massive decision. If you are not sure your proposed site is right for you or if you are having trouble finding a suitable site, we can do a site appraisal for you. We will also assist you in working out the most cost-effective way to build on your chosen site.

Some sites will cause budget blowouts, requiring to be built-up etc. Sometimes the position of the site is so favourable that you may choose to go ahead anyway, but at this stage we help you weigh up all the factors to make a sound and well-informed decision.

We can also use our experienced network to help assist you in finding the perfect site.

Explaining the process

We find it best-practice to take clients through a comprehensive checklist that relates to all stages of the project. In this way, we ensure that you are across every stage of the building process. This means you are well-prepared and won’t have any surprises down the track.

If you need to know more, please get in touch so we can set up a preliminary meeting.
