We recently celebrated ten years of membership with the Master Builders Association of Queensland. As long-time builders on the Sunshine Coast, we are proud to play a part in contributing to our local building industry in terms of knowledge-sharing and employing best practices in our building projects.

The industry has seen a lot of changes in the last ten years and we are happy to say that there has been a lot of improvements, particularly in regard to purposeful development.

The Sunshine Coast local government area continues to boom (as more and more people choose to partake in the Coast’s lifestyle). Significant capital investment right across the area plus a regional council dedicated to the importance of the right type of development, means development across the Sunshine Coast is cutting-edge.

Being active members of the Master Builders Association helps keep us informed about changes to laws, codes and regulations that impact the way we do business. We also get to play a part, along with the more than 8,500 members, in influencing industry outcomes and helping to shape government policies and legislation.

Shadforth Lythgo are really proactive in this regard and seek to be industry leaders not only in the buildings we construct but in helping to continuously improve our industry.
