We have a good track-record for construction project delivery on the Sunshine Coast. Our objective has remained the same over the years; deliver the project safely, on time, and on budget. This is a matter of personal pride and integrity for us, but successful project delivery is also very much a team effort requiring cooperative and competent subcontractors and partners.
We’ve gained a lot of expertise over the years; here’s some of the components we’ve identified as essential to excellent project delivery.
Good building arises from the collective
We are big believers in encouraging and utilising the skills and insights of all stakeholders to create excellence.
Communication is paramount
Communication is central to accomplishing extraordinary results on any project, which is why regular project meetings MUST be part of the mix.
Never rush the design phase
Time spent identifying goals, visual expectations and concept ideas is vital to the development of a design that delivers a comprehensive result in synergy with stakeholder needs and budget.
Provide one point-of-contact.
It’s vital to have one contact person from start to finish; someone who is across all aspects of the build from project feasibility, conceptual pricing, site selection, planning & approvals, design, and the construction process.
Make sure comprehensive site supervision is in place
Stringent site supervision is essential in minimising disruptions to your build as well as keeping the neighbours on side. Choose someone who can manage community liaison where needed. The most successful projects are those that are proactive in this regard.
Relationship management is key
To deliver a project on time and on budget requires that all the stakeholders work together harmoniously. Mutual trust between the builder and subcontractors is vital to nurturing a positive project culture. To keep everyone on track and invested in excellent project delivery is a complex task requiring an experienced and committed communicator to oversee the daily running of the project.
